The great combination of chassis and engine of Suzuki GSXR-600 renders it very light in weight and compact in its category. Many modifications have been carried out on GSXR-600 from the year 1992. One of the latest versions of this sports bike comes with a slipper clutch and an underslung exhaust. The fuel injection system in GSXR-600 features a SDTV (Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve) system. In this set up there are two injectors per cylinder. These fine improved injectors assist in fuel atomization. To attain optimum performance out of GSXR-600, the combustion chamber is set up with a compression ratio of 12.8:1. For increased rigidity and to reduce the noise levels, the internal ribs are featured with oil pan and clutch cover.

The GSXR-600 model has an aggressive look to it. The angular tail section and bold headlight design makes it looks so. The improved headlight features multi-reflector lamps to enable wide distribution of light. A solenoid valve is made use of to control steering damper electronically. To reduce the overall body weight, the aluminum seat rail sports a two piece design. The tank is not only stylish to look at; but also can accommodate 4.5 gallons of fuel. In the improved version of GSXR-600, there exists three footpegs that can be adjusted and moved to different locations within a range of 14mm; both horizontally and vertically.
