The 2009 CBR 1000 RR is mounted with type 999cc – cooled inline four cylinder and close-ratio six-speed transmission. Its front suspension is 43mm inverted HMAS cartridge fork with spring preload, rebound and compression damping adjustability; while the rear suspension is a single shock with spring preload rebound and compression-damping adjustability. The front brake features dual radial-mounted four-piston calipers with 320 mm discs while the rear brake is a single 220 mm disc. The bore and stroke measures 76mm x 55.1mm. Computer-controlled digital transistorized with three-dimensional mapping controls the ignition part. The rake is angled at 23.3 degrees with a wheelbase that is set at 55.4 inches. The seat is 32.3 inches above the ground level. The compact CBR 100RR weighs 439 pounds. It has a fuel capacity of 4.7 gallons, including 1.06-gallon reserve.
