2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide Trike
It used to be that in order to get a trike, you had to build a trike. And for those people that need to ride but unfortunately don’t have the ability to keep a two-wheeled machine upright, this is a phenomenal opportunity to get your face in the wind again. And what is really nice is that you can look great while you are doing it.
This motorcycle is based on the 103 cubic inch engine that is tied into the output stage via a much larger sprocket to give you more acceleration and power all at the same time.
It has a total length of 105.8 inches and a fuel capacity of six gallons. Now compared to the other models this year the gas mileage suffers a little, but there is a lot more bike to push around here with the weight coming in at 1,110 pounds as it sits there ready to ride. But is still gets 48 miles to the gallon on the highway and that is far better than that Hummer you might own. The power is put to the rear wheels via the six-speed transmission that is quite effective at making this thing get up and move.
Your color choices are a bit limited and subdued with the Vivid Black and the Red Hot Sunglo being the only two options available on the production model.
Unlike a custom build where the original frame is often modified to become a three wheeler this thing was designed for safety starting with a new three wheeled frame and then the rest of the true Harley Davidson items were added to that mix so you have a custom look and the safety of a production engineered model.
The seat sits at a low 28 inches off the ground and is a narrow Road Glide model so you are going to love the comfort that you get from it and you’ll also like how easy and effortlessly you get into it. And to make things even better the steering ahs been designed to make it easier to turn with less effort and that was accomplished by lengthening and raking the front forks.
When it comes time to head out you have a 4.3 cubic foot trunk in the back that holds a full fifty pounds worth of gear and it looks nice while doing it thanks to the design folks at Harley who designed it to work well and meld into the design. In fact, from the side it truly resembles a Street Glide. There is also a full-length street glide console and tons of custom logo design all over the bike to give it that special one of a kind look and feel.
