2010 Harley Davidson Road Glide Custom
Anybody that has ever had the privilege ot piloting a Road Glide from Harley Davidson knows that this is the perfect balance between sport bike, cruiser and a medium touring rig all rolled up into one package. The 2010 model offers some things that should get anyone with a pulse ready to ride.
The two into one exhaust gives the bike a look that is classic from eras gone by and helps to keep things at just the right level giving balance between that Harley Davidson sound and a quiet bike. It comes with the Shark Nose fairing, which is frame mounted and contains two very effective headlights to illuminate the road on the days when the ride carries over into the evening hours. The fairing gives you some convenient storage available to hold maps or cell phones or cameras or just about anything and keep them where you can get to them easily. The fairing also has a dark short wind deflector built in to keep the wind and bugs off of the operator as much as possible without affecting the in the wind feel.
The operator is treated to stylish and chromed out floorboards to make the feel ever so comfortable on your feet as you ride along while keeping it stylish. There are standard foot pegs for the passenger and a one piece two up seat ties it all together for those of you that like to share the fun with a friend.
The bike comes with integrated color matched saddlebags to add to the attractiveness of the motorcycle. These are nice hard bags that will give you tons of room to carry everything from rain suits to weekend gear. The handles are even color matched so it does not detract from the clean lines.
The dual rear taillights and license plate frame are designed to enhance and set off the style of the front fairing and complete the overall look of the bike as one well designed and thought out machine.
The transmission is the new six-speed Helical Cut model, which couples nicely with the 96 cubic inch engine that offers 92.6 foot pounds of torque. The motorcycle weighs in at about 800 pounds and the six-gallon fuel tank gives you plenty of highway cruising with 54 miles per gallon on the open road.
