2010 Harley Davidson CVO Street Glide
This is nearly the top of the line and the amenities that are on this motorcycle are those fit for a unit of its stature and heritage. The color schemes in the Street Glide are breathtaking including the Spiced Run with Gold Leaf Graphics or the Candy Concord with its Pale Gold Leaf Graphics or finally the Tequila Sunrise with Pale Gold Leaf Graphics. One look at these combinations and you will be hooked and hard pressed to pick your favorite. It is all candy coated and the gold graphics are actually done in 20-caret gold leaf.
The lines on this bike are clean and the attention to detail is all there. All the way to the LED taillights, which have the stoplight, the turn signals and the taillight all neatly styled together with all of the wiring concealed nicely under the molding. The saddlebags are deeper and roomier than before ad hug to the tailpipe making it sleek and sexy. To the other side of the bike you will find a slammed front fender with some great pin striping to set it all off and make it look great. In fact all of the body parts are carefully color matched.
Even the wheels got a treatment to make them functionally stand out above the crowd. They are the new Agitator model wheels, which are a mirror chrome, seven spoke design with matching full floating rotors to add more good looks and safety when you need to come to a quick stop..
The 110 cubic inch v-twin motor gives you more than enough get up and go as it comes out to the wheel via the six speed transmission with 115 foot pounds of torque. Gas mileage is still a fairly respectable 47 miles to the gallon on the highway and with the six-gallon tank you get a lot of moving time between fill ups Amazingly considering everything on this motorcycle it only weighs 848 pounds when it is ready to go. That makes it light enough to maneuver even in tight city traffic. The motor has a 4-inch bore and a 4.38 stroke and is chain driven with a 35 / 45 ratio.
There is over five full inches of ground clearance on the bike so getting around and over things will not be a problem but the seat height is still under 28 inches so everyone but the extremely short should be able to comfortably hold this thing up at a dead stop. The full length of the bike is 96.2 inches and the wheelbase is 63.5, which also helps to make in east to handle in sticky situations. All in all there is not much left to want in the way of a touring machine.
